Model 0.51: ANP BOCR - Reform the U.S. Electoral College? (2002)
Short Description
After the narrow electoral-college victory and popular vote loss of George W. Bush in 2000 once again a lot of people questioned the appropriateness of the Electoral College in a modern representative democracy. Others continued to voice strong support for it and its enhancement of the importance of less populous states (by basing the number of electors in a state on the number of its US Representatives and Senators), fearing that otherwise presidential candidates would focus on more populous states and on the issues important to their core voters.
